You may be confused about many issues of religion, but don't let that stop you from hearing God's gracious offer: Jesus wants to forgive your sins and welcome you into new life. If you haven't already accepted His invitiation, let's do it right now.
Romans 10: 9-13 reads: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
Jesus came not to condemn, but to save. His primary purpose was to offer life to dying people (us), inviting them to experience forgiveness, healing, and hope.
To confess Jesus as Lord of your life and to demonstrate your trust in Him, pray this prayer out loud:
Father, God in heaven,
I confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord, He gave his life for me on the cross, and you raised Him from the dead to save me. I invite you to come into my life. I know that I am a sinner. There are so many things that I have done and said that were not pleasing to you. I ask you to forgive me of my sins. Help me to follow you the rest of my life. In the name of Jesus (Jeshua) Amen.
